I’d like to thank the Academy…
Wow, my first award, since I got selected to be on the Homecoming Court in College. I got nominated as a “Rockin Girl Blogger”! I don’t know where to start. (Deep Breath, looking at the teleprompter.) I’d like to thank the Academy and all my fans. I love my fans. And I’d like to thank my mom, for teaching me how to cook, therefore getting me ready to be a Cook! And my wonderful kids, who should be in bed right now - I love you! And to my husband. My Rock. The one who helps me stay grounded. (Music playing) I love you so much….oh, they want me to wrap up…honey you mean the world to me. Oh…Without you thiswouldn’thavebeen…oh…possible….(2 really tall thin women sweeping me off stage…)
Oh, uh, I’m sorry, I’m back. I just got carried away. I got nominated as a Rockin’ Girl Blogger by both Heather and Dori. That’s so exciting! I feel so special! I’m glad they think I rock. I would have nominated both of them too, because I think they rock!
I am supposed to nominate others that I think rock, and 2 (Heather and Dori) are out since they nominated me. I also noticed that 2 other blogs I read (Mommy Zabs and Christian Mom ’s Alliance) were nominated by Heather with me, so I can’t nominate them. So, I know that a few of these people may have already been nominated, but I didn’t know if they had so here goes:
- Fruit Inspection - I just stumbled upon this blog, but I love it. Plus two of my new favorite recipes came from this site!
- Hesse Family CEO - Jenn has been so busy with freelance projects, she hasn’t gotten to write much, but reading her blog is one of the factors that inspired me!
- Mom Loves Being at Home - Always great to read. Lots of info on Homeschooling if you’re considering it.
- The Three Olivos - Missy always has something insightful or funny to say. Or she’s talking politics. I love reading her blog. It might have something to do with agreeing with her politics…
- The Org Junkie - I can’t tell you how inspired I have gotten by this blog (see THIS page I just added)
There are a lot of great blogs out there. Just because they aren’t this list, doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy them and think they rock!
The people on the list are supposed to go pick 5 other blogs that they think rock and nominate them. Have fun!
