Random things and a rerun
My friend Jenn just did her 100th post and as is customary with many bloggers, she posted 100 random things about herself. It reminded me that I broke blogging tradition. I didn’t do that. The sad thing is that around post eighty-something, I was SO looking forward to my 100 random things. I was counting down the posts. I probably even did some silly posts to get me to 100 earlier. But around post #88 I found out I had a new job as a human incubator was pregnant. I have obviously taken that job very seriously because I find myself unable to put together more than 5 minutes of serious thinking. All, well ok, most of my brain cells are not working exactly as they should.
Anyway, maybe one day, I’ll do my post of 100 random things and I can just pretend that it coincides with my 100th post.
As I mentioned last week (or the week before) I wanted to air some reruns. Here is one of my favorite posts and I wanted to post it because my big boy is now building with blocks instead of french bread. It was from July 10, 2007 and was entitled, “What does your garage look like?”
In case you’re wondering about the photo below…
I walked over to the table where Garrett was eating off of a loaf of French bread and saw a matchbox car peaking out of the bread. Here is the short conversation that followed:
ME: Well, what is that? A Matchbox Sandwich?
GARRETT: No Mommy. It’s a garage. (You know, in that rolling my eyes at you tone.)
A garage? Um, ok.

OK, so that post was during the time that i was not doing such a good job of keeping up with your blog and I missed it. That is hilarious. I love hearing all of Garrett’s antics!
